Volunteer presenting blanket to veteran

Veteran Knits gifts hand crafted items to veterans and active service members as a way to show appreciation for what they have done, and are doing, for our country.

These knitted items include socks, toques, mitts, gloves, scarves, slipper, vests, and lap throws.

A wonderful group of volunteer knitters and crocheters keep us stocked in hand crafted garments for gifting near Veteran's birthdays or at Christmas. Volunteers are supplied with yarn, patterns and needles, if necessary, for each project.

This means that fundraising is a must. The same wonderful group of volunteers knit and crochet an array of useful items that are used as fundraisers. Some of these items include dish cloths, scrubbys, cotton swiffer dusters, mittens and more.

All donations greatly accepted. Donations of yarn has been amazing! Thank you to all for your support. Yarn that is donated is made into appreciation apparel OR used to make fund raising articles.
